When to use Uhip skirt

The purpose for the Uhip skirt is to be keep you warm and dry during an athletic activity or to and from an athletic activity. The Uhip skirt has zippers in the front and back for maximum freedom of movement when exercising, for example horse riding, bicycling, jogging, Nordic walking, cross country skiing. Naturally, you can also use it to and from work, the party etc.

 

Skirt sides

The skirt sides hangs down and keeps your thighs warm. The length is approximately to below your knee standing and to your knee when for instance horse riding and sitting in the saddle.

 

Leg straps

Leg straps on the inside of the skirt with Velcro attachment can be attached around your leg to fixate the skirt sides and prevent them from flapping in the wind. Attaches are at the front. Be careful with the Velcro if you wear pants made by synthetic material.

 

Zippers

The zipper at the front  is a two-way zipper that can be totally zipped up so you can easily take the skirt off, even when you are in full action for instance on the horseback. The zipper at the back is sewn in almost all the way up to the waist. Both zippers can be adjusted to any position to match your activity. When horse riding, pull up the back zipper as much as possible, to avoid to be sitting on the zipper.

 

Outside-pocket

On the skirt’s front side there is one outside pocket for cell phone, wallet etc.

 

If you want to take off the skirt during activity

On the inside of the skirt, there is a pocket in which you can put in and store the folded skirt. There is a strap on the pocket with Velcro that can be used to  attach the skirt in the pocket to a belt etc.

 

Holder

On the right side of the skirt sides there is a holder for the riding crop, attach gloves etc.

The skirt fabric is a durable water treated polyamide fabric

Hand Warmer

The jacket arm endings has cuffs that you can fold down and let it cover  your hands when you hold the reins, handlebars, grips or similar

Materials

The jacket is insulated with Thermocool, an insulation similar to down that is ultralight and stands moisture and wet conditions which down doesn’t.. The outer fabric is also lightweight and DWR treated.

Fitted model

The jacket is a slim model for optimal freedom of movement. Best suited for thin performance fabric made from synthetic or wool / fleece If it’s very cold the jacket can be used as layer 2, with a shell jacket / vest on top.

Laundry

Close all zippers when washing. Tumble dry jacket on low speed and remove it as soon as the dryer is finished.
